In Riverside, 34-year-old Frank Webber is a big star. For the past 20 years, Frank has competed in seven sports at Special Olympics and won more medals than he can count. His success in Southern California led him to be recognized in the Riverside Hall of Fame.
However, all of that would pale in comparison to winning a gold medal in floor hockey at the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games.
Special Olympics, though, means more to Frank and his family than the amount of medals he has won. Through Special Olympics, Frank has achieved personal success, lived a healthier lifestyle, and built lifelong friendships.
When he is not competing in sports, Frank is working at Ability Counts in Riverside, riding his bike, camping, or fishing.
